Our story

Twenty years in the field. Three years building the answer.

Ilan Experience was founded by practitioners — not theorists. Over two decades of business development across adtech, martech and location intelligence gave us a front-row seat to one of retail's most persistent structural problems: the disconnect between physical territory and digital activation.

We worked across geolocation platforms, in-store analytics systems, programmatic advertising and marketing attribution. We helped brands, retailers and media agencies build campaigns — and we watched, repeatedly, as budgets were allocated based on assumptions rather than real territorial data. We saw expansion teams and marketing teams making decisions in parallel, from different datasets, with no shared ground truth.

Three years ago, we started building Flow. Not a reporting tool. Not another dashboard. A phygital platform — one that digitalises the physical world through GDPR-compliant mobile data from smartphones, reconciling real physical traffic with digital activation on a single shared territorial layer.

Flow Connect delivers monthly territory intelligence — catchment zones, audience profiles, competitive signals — to expansion managers and network directors. Flow Activate translates that same intelligence into media allocation plans for CMOs, media planners and trading desks. Flow Suite puts both on a single platform, shared across every department that touches territory.

The result is a platform where a retailer's expansion decision and their next media campaign start from exactly the same data.
